Central Park Map

Description:

The purpose of this project was to create a map that sits in a brochure-style pamphlet. The unique part about this project was that we rolled dice to decide our parameters of our designs. Everyone rolled different things, so everyone’s projects held different details that set it apart from everyone else.

I rolled for a map, brochure style, three color pantone color palette, paper material, and signage for my extra item. I decided to create a graphic style map for New York’s infamous Central Park. I decided to use tints of blue, green, and orange to represent the natural colors of the park. For my extra signage, I did a large scale vertical representation of the map that would hypothetically sit throughout the park for visitors to easily navigate their way.
